"I feel that music can cause a shift in our habitual dualistic thinking and that this more open awareness reveals the potential for liberation. This can be prompted by manifesting the truth that appearance and emptiness coexist. They are actually both descriptions of that liberated state. I think all spiritual music is essentially a vehicle for this. The rhythms and melodies of all the people of the world share a common sense of urgency and longing. This longing is a naturally arising desire for that very same liberation. I'm trying to develop some way to invoke or create an environment for that to occur." fk
